Actual problems of modern education, namely: the unity of general professional and worldview education; the triumph of anti-culture over culture itself; innovation as a continuous educational activity in the field of personal and professional orientation, etc. Solving the identified problems will make it possible to identify clear parameters. The development of modern society is characterized by attention to the world of the individual, in particular, in education. However, if in declarative terms, personal orientation in education does not cause opposition, then in real educational practice the situation is more complicated.

Due to the specifics of the tasks being solved in society (transfer of social experience to new generations) and a particularly valuable object (a living human soul), education is one of the conservative social institutions. At the same time, this is such a sphere of human activity in which the search for new content and various approaches to learning that meet the spirit of the times and the educational needs of the individual and society are constantly being conducted. Now, having undergone an impressive evolution, education has significantly modified its role, significance, and functions in the life of society and the individual. These changes were the result of the development of socio-economic conditions, the technology of transmitting information about the sciences of man and education, and humanity as a whole.

3. Worldview education defines a socially mature citizen.

In the orientation of education to the personality, especially when it comes to the personality of a professional, the social aspect is also clearly visible. The modern social crisis puts a professional in a situation of restructuring personal and professional experience: continuous educational activities in the field of personal and professional reorientation have a distinct sociocultural feature – innovativeness. This means that education can become a means of supporting a person in crisis social conditions. At the same time, it also acts as a means of supporting innovative socio-cultural projects, during which a fundamentally new product (for example, programs) is created.

In other words: now education has changed its status in the life of society and the individual. If earlier its main goal was to prepare a young person for industrial life, now it is to provide multilateral preparation for life in all its manifestations, including the development of critical thinking. Today, education is concerned with how to give a person the opportunity to “be himself”, and “self-determine”. Today’s student and his parent should know: the time of tens of thousands of official “cultural workers” (in quotation marks), hundreds of thousands of the same “scientists”, millions of “employees” according to the principle: the soldier sleeps, but the service goes on – gone forever. Today it is normal to live without parasitizing or stealing, only a high professional who is in demand in the labor market can. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the abilities and inclinations (these are different things) of the future professional as soon as possible and more fully. And the further these abilities are from those filled with the above thousands and millions, the better. Both for society as a whole and for each of its members separately. But that’s not all.

In addition to the complex mechanization that has already developed and the automation of social production that is beginning, the complex computerization of production is only just beginning to unfold in our country. In social terms, this means that a few percent of the employed are enough to supply the rest with food, including the industrial processing of raw materials; to furnish any manufactured goods; a few percent in a comprehensively computerized state apparatus, including transport and communications, health care and education, the police, and the army. Whatever you think, more than two or three tens of percent does not work. In turn, this means that even if the working week is halved, tripled, or quadrupled (recall that it is already halved compared to a hundred years ago), each vacancy in the social production of the 21st century will be valued more and more.

For everyone! – there will be more and more people who want it. Therefore, the imperative of high professionalism and the corresponding advanced identification of abilities and inclinations for it will become more categorical. Extra-long-term normative forecasting proposes to supplement the shrinking workweek in traditional industries of social production with so far exotic activities, such as an assistant teacher for extracurricular work with children, a social worker (primarily in health care), an organizer of classes in an interest club, a soldier of the Nature Salvation Army (given the colossal amount of manual labor, in addition to machine labor, necessary for the restoration of polluted earth’s surface). In the aggregate of working man-hours for this kind of occupation, no less will be required than peasants in the 19th century or workers in the 20th century. Especially given that most of it will be part-time work for a few hours a week, covering all or at least most of the working population.
